Israel sought $1.3 billion IMF loan for Palestinians

JERUSALEM (AFP) – Israel sought a US$1 billion (S$1.27 billion) IMF bridging loan for the Palestinian Authority earlier this year, but was turned down, an Israeli newspaper said on Monday in a report confirmed to AFP by a senior Israeli official.
